Text

“Fireman,” as used in this article, means any employee in a position designated as a fireman’s position by the board; provided, such designation is not contrary to any definition, ruling or regulation relating to the term “fireman” issued by the federal agency for the purposes of Section 218(d)(5)(A) of the Social Security Act.
