§ 31006. — 31006. (Added by Stats. 1947, Ch. 424.)

Any person possessing all the minimum qualifications for any county employment is eligible for appointment to that employment, and neither the board of supervisors nor any other county officer or employee possessing the power of appointment shall adopt any rule, either written or unwritten, prohibiting the employment of any person in any county position, who is otherwise qualified therefor, solely because of his age.
