Notwithstanding Section 14670, the Director of General Services, with the consent of the Director of Conservation, may lease to a nonprofit corporation, for the purposes of conducting organized group camping, outdoor recreation, and conservation education, and for a period not to exceed 30 years, a portion of those certain premises situated in the County of Mendocino, California, commonly known as the Mendocino Woodlands, containing approximately 640 acres. Any lease executed pursuant to this section shall include a provision that such lease shall be canceled if financial capability to carry out the terms of the lease is not demonstrated to the satisfaction of the
Director of General Services and the Director of Conservation, jointly.
