Text
Any person legally killing a bear in this state shall have the tag for that bear countersigned by a commissioner, a person employed in the department, a person designated for that purpose by the commission, a notary public, a postmaster, a peace officer, or by an officer authorized to administer oaths, before transporting the bear, except to transport the bear to the nearest person authorized by this section to countersign the tag on the route from where the bear is taken to that person.
