Text

The treasury of the county shall be the repository of all the moneys of the district. The county treasurer shall receive and receipt for all of these moneys, and place the same to the credit of the district. Any interest earned on the district funds shall be the property of the district. The treasurer shall be responsible upon his or her official bond for the safekeeping and disbursement, in the manner herein provided, of all moneys of any such district so held by him or her. The county treasurer shall pay out the moneys of the district only upon warrants of the county auditor drawn upon the order of the board of directors of the district signed by the president of the board and attested by the secretary.
