Text

It is unlawful for any person to sell any margarine, dairy spread, or spread, unless there is printed upon the label of each and every package, or other container in which the margarine, dairy spread, or spread is put up for sale or sold at retail all of the following:

(a)The words “oleomargarine,” “margarine,” “dairy spread,” or “spread,” as the case may be, in letters which are at least as large as any other type or lettering on the label. The word “oleomargarine,” “margarine,” “dairy spread,” or “spread” shall be of a color in strong contrast to the color of the container.
(b)The name and address of the manufacturer or distributor.
(c)The net weight of the contents.
(d)A full and accurate statement of all the ingredients which are contained in the substance in the package.
