Text
A person shall first apply each year to the director for a license to engage in any business or occupation for which a license is required by Section 35101. Upon payment of the license fee which is prescribed in Section 35226, the director shall issue a license to engage in the business for which the license is issued. Separate licenses are required for each such business or occupation.
