Text

It is unlawful for any person, other than the consumer of poultry meat, to remove from any whole carcass of poultry meat, or from any part of a dismembered carcass of poultry meat, any official wholesomeness inspection mark of the United States Department of Agriculture, or of any city, county, or state poultry meat inspection service. As used in this section, “consumer” includes a restaurant or other place where such poultry meat is cooked and sold for consumption on or off the premises.
