Within the criteria and priority for the selection of participating school teams set forth in paragraph (2) of subdivision (b) of Sections 99220, 99221, 99222, 99223, 99224, and 99225, priority for the selection of teachers to participate in the professional development institutes authorized pursuant to those sections shall be determined in the following manner:
(a)Teachers who have not participated in a professional development institute in reading or mathematics that is authorized pursuant to this article shall be accorded first priority for training pursuant to this article.
(b)Teachers who have participated in a professional development institute in reading or mathematics that is authorized pursuant to this article, but who have not yet received supplemental training in the areas sp
