(a)
(1)The California State University may pledge, in addition to any of its other revenues that the university chooses to pledge, its annual General Fund support appropriation less the amount of that appropriation required to fund general obligation bond payments and State Public Works Board rental payments, to secure the payment of debt obligations issued by the Trustees of the California State University pursuant to the State University Revenue Bond Act of 1947 (Article 2 (commencing with Section 90010) of Chapter 8).
(2)To the extent the university pledges any part of its support appropriation as a source of revenue securing any obligation, it shall provide that this commitment of revenue is subject to annual appropriation by the Legislature.
