(a)
(1)The single multiple measures public school accountability system authorized by Article 4.5 (commencing with Section 52059.5) shall measure the overall performance of numerically significant pupil subgroups in schools, including charter schools, school districts, and county offices of education.
(2)For purposes of this section, numerically significant pupil subgroups include all of the following:
(A)Ethnic subgroups.
(B)Socioeconomically disadvantaged pupils.
(C)English learners and, separately, long-term English learners, defined as a pupil who has not attained English language proficiency within seven years of initial classification as an English learner.
(D)Pupils with disabilities.
(E)Foster youth.
(F)Homeless youth.
