(a)Subdivision (a) of Section 5151 of the new public benefit corporation law does not apply to subject corporations governed by the public benefit corporation law, subdivision (a) of Section 7151 of the new mutual benefit corporation law does not apply to subject corporations governed by the mutual benefit corporation law, and subdivision (a) of Section 9151 of the new religious corporation law does not apply to subject corporations governed by the religious corporation law, but those corporations shall continue to be governed by the prior nonprofit law unless and until an amendment of the articles is filed pursuant to Section 9913.
