Text
The provisions of Chapter 18 (commencing with Section 6810) of Part 2 apply to religious corporations. In so providing, the Legislature encourages the criminal courts of this state in sentencing persons convicted of fraudulent activities in the guise of religious activity to exercise their authority to impose restitution as a means of compensating the victims.
