The provisions of Division 13 (commencing with Section 13101), Division 14 (commencing with Section 14101), and Division 15 (commencing with Section 15101) shall continue to apply to this code, as this code existed on January 1, 1993, and for this purpose, this code, as it existed prior to January 1, 1993, and this code, as it existed on January 1, 1993, shall be considered one continuous statute.
