Any person, firm, or corporation holding a license as real estate broker or real estate salesperson, when making appraisals and
valuations of real estate properties, while engaged in the business or acting in the capacity of a real estate broker or a real estate salesperson, within the meaning of the Real Estate Law is exempt from registration under the provisions of this chapter.
