§ 23381. — 23381. (Amended by Stats. 1955, Ch. 447.)

Any manufacturer's, wine grower's, manufacturer’s agent's, rectifier’s or wholesaler’s license authorizes the licensee to:
(a)
Deal in warehouse receipts, for the kind of alcoholic beverages which the licensee is authorized to sell, with other licensed manufacturers, wine growers, distilled spirits manufacturer’s agents, rectifiers, or wholesalers who are authorized to sell the kind of alcoholic beverages covered by the warehouse receipt.
(b)
Sell warehouse receipts for brandy produced in this State to licensees of other states who are authorized
to deal in brandy, for the purpose of storage of the brandy covered by the warehouse receipts in internal revenue bonded warehouses in this State for subsequent export to another state.
Nothing in this division prohibits the sale of a warehouse receipt for alcoholic beverages by any other person, in accordance with rules adopted by the department, to manufacturers, wine growers, manufacturer’s agents, rectifiers, and wholesalers licensed to sell the kind of alcoholic beverages covered by the warehouse receipt when the warehouse receipt was acquired by the person prior to May 1, 1941.
