The real estate broker license examination fee is one hundred fifty dollars ($150), not to exceed one hundred ninety-five dollars ($195). The real estate broker license reexamination fee is one hundred fifty dollars ($150), not to exceed one hundred ninety-five dollars ($195). If an applicant fails to appear for the examination within two years from the date of filing their application and fee for the examination, their application shall thereupon lapse and no further proceedings thereon shall be taken. This section shall remain in effect unless it is superseded pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 10226.5.
