§ 5-803 — Board of directors
Arizona·Title 5 Arizona Revised Statutes·Ch. 8 TOURISM AND SPORTS AUTHORITY·Art. 1 General Provisions
A. The authority is governed by a board of directors consisting of the following members who must reside in the county in which the authority is established: 1. Five members appointed by the governor pursuant to section 38-211. No more than three of these members may be from the same political party. Of these members, the governor shall appoint:
(a)One member from the tourism industry in the authority.
(b)One member from the hotel and motel industry located in the authority.
(c)One member representing a youth sports organization in the authority.
(d)One member representing a major league baseball spring training organization in the authority.
2. Two members who are appointed by the president of the senate and who are not of the same political party.
