Text
A.A person shall not conduct or assist in conducting activity for which a license is required under this article unless the person conducting the activity first obtains the specific class of license for the activity.
B.A license prescribed by this article shall not be issued to an applicant qualified under this article until the licensing authority receives an original or certified copy of the application from the local governing body and the nonrefundable license fee prescribed in section 5-414 is paid to the licensing authority. The license expires one year from the date it is issued and may be renewed upon the filing with the licensing authority of an application for renewal of the license provided by the licensing authority and the payment of the license fee prescribed in section 5-
