Text

A.The secretary of the board of directors shall cause notice of filing of the petition to be given and published in the same manner and for the same time that notice of elections for the issuance of bonds is required to be published under this chapter.
B.The notice shall set forth the filing of the petition and the names of petitioners, a description of the lands mentioned in the petition, and the prayer of the petition. The notice shall inform all persons interested in, or who may be affected by the change of boundaries of the district, to appear at the office of the board at the time stated in the notice and show cause in writing why the change in the boundaries of the district as proposed in the petition should not be made.
