(Conditionally Eff.)
In addition to the information required by section 45-596, a person who files a notice of intention to drill a well that will pump Colorado River water shall include with the notice proof that the director determines to be satisfactory that the person has the legal right to use Colorado river water. This section does not apply to a proposed well that will have a pump with a maximum capacity of not more than thirty-five gallons per minute and that will be used for the supply, service and activities of households and private residences, including the application of water to less than two acres of land to produce plants or parts of plants for sale or human consumption or for use as feed for livestock, range livestock or poultry, as those terms are defined in section 3-12
