A.The automation projects fund is established consisting of monies appropriated by the legislature. The department of administration shall administer the fund. Monies in the fund are subject to legislative appropriation. The director shall establish a separate subaccount for each agency that implements, upgrades or maintains automation and information technology projects. Monies in each subaccount are subject to legislative appropriation. Monies may not be transferred between agency subaccounts and are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190 relating to lapsing of appropriations, except that on completion of an automation and information technology project, all monies remaining unexpended and unencumbered in the subaccount revert to their fund of origin.
