A.Notwithstanding any law to the contrary and for the benefit of the board, the department of public safety shall transfer to the state department of corrections the title to the property that was formerly known as the Arizona law enforcement training academy and that is operated as the correctional officer training academy in Tucson.
B.If at any time after title is transferred the state department of corrections leases or sells the property, the proceeds from the lease or sale shall be deposited, pursuant to sections 35-146 and 35-147, as follows: 1. 53.66 per cent of the proceeds or 53.66 per cent of the fair market value, whichever is greater, in the peace officers' training fund established by section 41-1825. 2. 46.34 per cent of the proceeds or 46.34 per cent of the fair market
