A.The department of administration shall provide coverage pursuant to title 41, chapter 3.1, article 1 against all liability for acts or omissions of any nature by members of the board while acting in an authorized governmental or proprietary capacity and within the course and scope of their employment or authority.
B.Notwithstanding any other law, a member of the board is immune from civil liability and is not subject to suit directly or by way of contribution for any act or omission resulting in any damage or injury if the member was acting in good faith and within the scope of the member's official capacity, unless the damage or injury was caused by wilful and wanton or grossly negligent conduct of the member.
