Text
A.The department shall establish an annual joint training session between supervisors, compliance officers and investigators who perform duties related to section 36-409 and each of the following:
1.Skilled nursing providers.
2.Assisted living providers.
B.The purpose of the joint training sessions is to report changes to the survey process and to educate both the compliance officers and the skilled nursing and assisted living providers on how compliance with the changes will be determined. The joint training sessions may be conducted in person or remotely.
C.The department may receive and spend gifts, grants or donations to pay for the joint training sessions required by subsection A of this section.
