Text

A. An applicant for a barber license shall file with the board a written application on a form prescribed by the board. B. An applicant for a barber license shall meet all of the following: 1. Do either of the following:

(a)Complete and receive appropriate credits for at least two years of high school education or the equivalent as prescribed by the board in its rules and submit satisfactory evidence that the applicant is at least sixteen years of age.
(b)Submit to the board satisfactory evidence that the applicant is at least eighteen years of age. 2. Submit to the board satisfactory evidence that the applicant meets any of the following:
(a)Is a graduate of a barbering course consisting of at least one thousand two hundred hours of training in a school licensed by the board. (b
