A.The private investigator and security guard hearing board is established consisting of seven members and an alternate member who are appointed by the director.
B.Each member of the board shall be a citizen of the United States and a resident of this state at the time of appointment. Two members shall be qualifying parties who are licensed as provided in this chapter. Two members shall be qualifying parties who are licensed as provided in chapter 26 of this title. Two members shall be certified peace officers with a rank of at least lieutenant who are not employees of the department.
