Text

A. The board may grant a one-year renewable training permit to a person who is participating in a teaching hospital's accredited internship, residency or clinical fellowship training program to allow that person to practice medicine only in the supervised setting of that program. Before the board issues the permit, the person shall: 1. Submit an application on a form and in a manner prescribed by the board and proof that the applicant:

(a)Is the person named on the application and on all supporting documentation.
(b)Is a citizen of the United States or a resident alien.
(c)Is a graduate of a school approved by the American osteopathic association.
(d)Participated in postgraduate training, if any.
(e)Has passed approved examinations appropriate to the applicant's level of educati
