Text

A. A person who wishes to practice as a medication assistant must: 1. File an application on a form prescribed by the board accompanied by a fee prescribed by the board by rule. 2. Submit a statement that indicates whether the applicant has been convicted of a felony and, if convicted of one or more felonies, that indicates the date of absolute discharge from the sentences for all felony convictions. 3. Have worked as a licensed nursing assistant or certified nursing assistant for at least six months before the start of the medication assistant training program, be a licensed nursing assistant and have no outstanding complaints or restrictions on the license. 4. Hold one of the following:

(a)A diploma issued by a high school that is located in the United States.
