In this article, unless the context otherwise requires:

1."Addled" or "white rot" means putrid or rotten.

2."Adherent yolk" means the yolk has become fastened to the shell.

3."Adulterated eggs" are eggs that are filthy, putrid, decomposed or otherwise unfit for food in whole or in part.

4."Denatured eggs" are eggs made unfit for human food by treatment or the addition of a foreign substance or ordure or chemical.

5."Inedible eggs" are those described and classed as black rots, white rots, mixed rots (addled eggs), sour eggs, eggs with green whites, eggs with stuck yolks, moldy eggs, musty eggs, eggs showing blood rings, denatured eggs, adulterated eggs, or eggs containing embryo chicks (at or beyond the blood ring stage), eggs containing large blood and meat spots, or any other e

7. "Moldy" or "black spot" or "black rot" means the presence of mold or bacteria inside the shell.
