Text

The inspector at slaughtering establishments with state meat inspection service shall condemn and so mark, stamp or tag all diseased or otherwise unfit carcasses and parts of carcasses, including the viscera. The condemned parts shall be removed from the slaughtering department of the plant in equipment designated for that purpose and shall be destroyed for food purposes under the supervision of the inspector. If any slaughtering establishment wishes to appeal a decision of an inspector as to carcasses or parts of carcasses which have been condemned, the establishment may appeal the decision to the chief veterinary meat inspector. If such establishment is not satisfied and wishes to make a further appeal, it may submit such appeal to the director. Except as provided in section 41-1092.
