§ 20-1603 — Definitions

In this article, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. "Consumer credit insurance" means any one or a combination of the following:

(a)Credit life insurance.
(b)Credit disability insurance.
(c)Credit unemployment insurance. 2. "Credit disability insurance" means insurance on a debtor to provide indemnity for payments becoming due or outstanding on a specific loan or other credit transaction while the debtor has a disability as defined in the policy or certificate. 3. "Credit life insurance" means insurance on the life of a debtor pursuant to or in connection with a specific loan or other credit transaction that provides for the satisfaction of a debt, in whole or in part, on the death of an insured debtor. 4. "Credit unemployment insurance" means casualty insurance on a debto
