Text

A. A guaranteed arrest bond certificate that conforms to section 20-1533 shall: 1. Be accepted as a bail bond in lieu of cash bail or any other bond if posted by the person whose signature appears on the certificate. 2. Be accepted to guarantee the appearance of the person whose signature appears on the certificate in any court in this state, including all municipal courts, at the time the court requires if the person is arrested or required to post a bond for a violation of a motor vehicle law of this state or a motor vehicle ordinance of a city or town. 3. Not be accepted as bail bonds for:

(a)The offense of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or of drugs.
