A.The state board of education may accept and direct the disbursement of funds appropriated by act of Congress and apportioned to the state for use in connection with school meal programs. The state board shall deposit, pursuant to sections 35-146 and 35-147, such funds in the school meal program fund. Disbursements from the fund shall be made in accordance with the provisions of section 35-185.
B.Notwithstanding any provision of title 35, chapter 1 limiting the drawing of warrants after the expiration of the fiscal year in which an obligation is incurred, the state board of education may accept and direct the allocation of federal funds apportioned to the state for use in connection with school meal programs, which are received and the allocation effected not later than six months afte
