(a)The State Board of Election Commissioners may receive expense reimbursement and stipends in accordance with § 25-16-901 et seq.

(b)(1) Each member of a county board of election commissioners shall receive for his or her services the sum of not less than one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) per public meeting when official business is conducted up to a total of ten (10) meetings for an election.

(2)For each meeting over the number of meetings per election under subdivision (b)(1) of this section, each member of a county board of election commissioners shall receive for his or her services the sum of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

(d) Each member of a county board of election commissioners shall file a claim with the county documenting tasks completed by the member and the time required to complete those tasks in order to receive hourly compensation. (e) A member of a county board of election commissioners shall not be paid hourly compensation for tasks completed: (1) More than one hundred (100) days prior to election day; or (2) More than forty (40) days after election day.
