§ 6-65-407 — El Dorado Branch Advisory Committee

(a) There is established a Southern Arkansas University, El Dorado Branch Advisory Committee. (b) (1) The committee shall consist of seven (7) members to be appointed by the Board of Trustees of Southern Arkansas University. (2) The members of the committee shall be qualified electors of this state residing in the area served by the El Dorado Branch. The committee shall consist of persons interested in community college instruction. (c) Members shall be appointed for terms of four (4) years. (d) The committee shall organize by electing one (1) of its members as chair and electing such other officers as the committee shall deem appropriate. (e) Members of the committee shall serve without pay but may receive expense reimbursement in accordance with § 25-16-901 et seq. (f) The committee shall advise the Board of Trustees of Southern Arkansas University and the President of Southern Arkansas University and the Chancellor of Southern Arkansas University, El Dorado Branch and the administrative officers of Southern Arkansas University, El Dorado Branch, in regard to all aspects of the operation of Southern Arkansas University, El Dorado Branch.
