Text
(a)The Board of Trustees of Southern Arkansas University appointed under the provisions of § 6-65-401 is charged with the management and control of Southern Arkansas University.
(b)(1) The board may reimburse tuition, fees, and other education-related expenses of a current university faculty member who seeks additional education levels that will benefit the university in meeting accreditation and professional standards.
(2)Reimbursement under subdivision (b)(1) of this section shall be authorized only when the reimbursement request submitted by the current university faculty member has been documented by the university to meet critical shortage instructional areas.
