§ 6-65-107 — Faculty and employees

(a)(1) (A) The faculty of each school shall consist of:
(i)A principal, who shall be a graduate of some reputable college or university;
(ii)One (1) instructor in stock raising and dairying;
(iii)A competent textile instructor; and (iv) Assistants as may be necessary.
(B)The board of trustees may combine the duties of any two (2) of the above when practicable.
(2)(A) It shall be unlawful for the board of trustees of any of the schools to employ as teachers of the natural and domestic sciences any other than graduates of agricultural colleges or colleges of domestic science.
(B)Any member of the board violating subdivision (a)(2)(A) of this section shall be guilty of a violation and upon conviction shall be fined not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250) nor more than five hundr
