Text

(a)The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences may provide on-call duty compensation or standby duty differential compensation for a classified or nonclassified patient care employee whose job requires him or her to provide patient care when there is no regularly scheduled staff coverage.
(b)A classified or nonclassified patient care employee shall not exceed one hundred twenty-eight (128) hours during any seven-day period, at rates of pay not to exceed the pay provided in the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act, § 21-5-201 et seq., or its successor, or this subchapter, or the compensation set in the operative appropriation for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
