Text

(a)The General Assembly finds that:
(1)Academic advising is an important service provided to students;
(2)The Arkansas Course Transfer System is an important tool for the advising process that is to be used by professors and advising staff to improve graduation rates; and (3) Freshmen should be advised of the importance of academic advising, the availability of the Arkansas Course Transfer System, and how to use the Arkansas Course Transfer System.
(b)Each public institution of higher education shall inform each student at registration as to how the Arkansas Course Transfer System can be used to assist the student to understand which course will transfer to another public institution of higher education.
(c)The information provided to the student under this section shall help the stud
