§ 6-60-121 — Automated external defibrillators required - Automated external defibrillator and cardiopulmonary resuscitation programs

(a)The Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board, in collaboration with all public university and community college presidents and chancellors or their designees, shall develop and adopt rules to require that:
(1)An automated external defibrillator be placed in appropriate locations across each institution of higher education campus as determined by rule;
(2)Appropriate personnel be adequately trained on an ongoing basis; and (3) Each institution of higher education-sponsored sporting event have an automated external defibrillator at the institution of higher education-sponsored sporting event.
(b)The board, after consultation with the Department of Health, shall develop rules based on guidelines for automated external defibrillator and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training that in
