Text

(a)The Career Education and Workforce Development Board shall establish a technical curriculum that must be offered by any vocational-technical school requesting permission to change its name pursuant to this section to "technical institute". The board shall periodically review and revise, if necessary, this technical curriculum requirement.
(b)Any vocational-technical school which satisfies the curriculum requirements established by the board pursuant to subsection (a) of this section may, in accordance with procedures to be adopted by the board, seek approval from the board to change its name from "__________________ Vocational-Technical School" to "__________________ Technical Institute".
