§ 6-51-213 — Administration of certain federal and state vocational education laws

(a)The State Board of Education is designated to:
(1)Carry into effect the provisions of the federal act and this act and have all necessary authority to cooperate with the United States Department of Education in the administration of the federal act;
(2)Administer any legislation pursuant thereto enacted by the General Assembly; and (3) Administer the funds provided by the United States Government and by the State of Arkansas under the provisions of the respective acts for the promotion of vocational-technical education in agricultural subjects and in trade and industrial subjects, as well as in family and consumer science.
(b)The state board shall have the full authority to:
(1)Formulate plans for the promotion of vocational education in subjects that are an essential and integral
