Text

(a)The State Board of Education, the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the public schools of Arkansas shall:
(1)Cooperate with the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Division of Higher Education, and the institutions of higher education in providing the information; and (2) Assist as requested by the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
(b)Individual schools shall make special efforts to ensure that as many students and parents or guardians as possible are made aware of the opportunity to receive information, are urged to attend the counseling sessions, and are in receipt of the information packages.
(c)Businesses and industries in Arkansas are hereby requested to provide the opportunity to their employees with children in the eighth grade in p
