(a)The general business manager, before entering upon the duties of his or her office, shall give bond to the state in penalty and with surety, to be approved by the Board of Trustees of the Arkansas School for the Blind and the Arkansas School for the Deaf, conditioned for the faithful performance of his or her official duties. The bond is to be filed in the office of the Auditor of State.
(b)The general business manager shall discharge his or her various duties under the direction of the Superintendent of the Arkansas School for the Blind, who shall examine all statements prepared by the general business manager, whether for past or contemplated expenditures, and the board of trustees shall receive no statement of expenditures from the general business manager unless the approval of th
