Text
(a)This chapter shall apply to dependent children of:
(1)Members of the active duty and activated reserve components of the uniformed services;
(2)Members or veterans of the uniformed services who were severely injured in the line of duty and are medically discharged or retired for a period of one (1) year following the medical discharge or retirement;
(3)Members of the uniformed services who die while on active duty or as a result of injuries sustained while on active duty for a period of one (1) year following the death;
(4)Dual status military technicians; and (5) Traditional members of the National Guard and reserve components of the United States Armed Forces who are relocating to the state for employment or to serve as a member of an Arkansas-based reserve component unit.
