§ 6-13-616 — Qualifications of directors

(a) No person shall be eligible to be a member of any school district board of directors in this state unless he or she is a qualified elector of the school district which he or she serves. (b) No person who is elected to a school district board of directors shall be eligible for employment in that same school district.
