Text

As used in this subchapter:

(1)"Classified employee" means any person for whom licensure is not required as the basis of employment in the public schools of the state;
(2)"Licensed employee" means any person for whom licensure is required as the basis of employment in the public schools of the state;
(3)"Parent" means any parent, legal guardian, or other person having custody or charge of a student enrolled in a public school; and (4) "Site-based decision making" means a joint planning and problem-solving process implemented within a local school building, providing for a sharing of power, authority, and responsibility among teachers, administrators, and parents, and designed to shift decision making activity to the local building level.
