Text

As used in this subchapter:

(1)"Credit card" means:
(A)Any card, plate, or other single credit device that may be used from time to time to obtain credit.
(B)Checks and similar instruments that can be used only once to obtain a single credit extension are not credit cards;
(2)"Credit card issuer" means:
(A)Any person or entity who issues a credit card; or (B) The employee or agent of the person or entity, with respect to the card;
(3)"Institution of higher education" means any public or private university, college, technical college, or community college located in Arkansas; and (4) "Person" means any natural person, firm, association, organization, partnership, corporation, or company, or any combination thereof.
