(a) Before commencing or doing any business for the time for which a permit has been issued, the permit shall be enclosed in a suitable wood or metal frame having a clear glass space and a substantial wood or metal back so that the whole of the permit may be seen therein. The permit shall be posted upon and at all times displayed in a conspicuous place in the room where the business is carried on, so that all persons visiting the place may readily see it. (b) It shall be unlawful for any person holding a permit to post the permit or allow the permit to be posted upon premises other than the premises permitted or upon premises where traffic in beer, wine, or liquor is being carried on by any person other than the permittee or knowingly to deface, destroy, or alter any permit in any respect.
